Connecting in the Absence of Dual Audio in Television
How to Connect Multiple Bluetooth Speakers To a Smart TV? While Bluetooth functionality is possible on your smart TV, dual audio is not. The reason for that is that many Samsung smart TVs provide Bluetooth compatibility but lack dual Bluetooth audio functionality.
Additionally, if your TV is compatible with Bluetooth 5.0, you may not need to run out and buy a plethora of adapters. So, is it possible to link several wireless speakers to a single TV set-top box?
Yes, it is possible. You can do this with the help of third-party apps that you install on your smart TV and then configure to allow for dual audio from two individual Bluetooth speakers.
If you’re fortunate enough to own a smart TV that enables Bluetooth and double audio, you may enjoy the benefits of both by selecting the right option in the more complicated Bluetooth settings of your TV, pairing your two independent Bluetooth speakers, and then watching anything you please.
Downloading apps that enable dual audio Bluetooth devices is your only choice if your TV has Bluetooth but does not support dual audio. However, some of these apps may limit you to using only specific streaming services, while others may only function with specific native Bluetooth speakers.
List of Apps Supporting Multiple Bluetooth Devices
While most of these apps are compatible with several devices at once, some of them are limited to use with built-in Bluetooth speakers. That’s because some apps will only work with Bluetooth speakers of the same brand or, at most, a small number of compatible speakers.
If you want to utilize those apps, you’ll need to invest in speakers that are compatible with them. Rea on know How to Connect Multiple Bluetooth Speakers To a Smart TV.
1. Ultimate Ears Blast (How to Connect Multiple Bluetooth Speakers To a Smart TV)
The team at Ultimate Ears has developed a handy little app that links up a pair of Bluetooth speakers. The one caveat is that you can only utilize their Blast and Megablast speaker systems.
If you want a sound that is louder and more immersive, you can combine up to 8 megablast speakers together, or if you want, you can just use two speakers to listen in stereo mode. The equalization controls are integrated right in, so you can fine-tune your sound in any way you choose.
These speakers not only have Amazon Alexa pre-installed for hands-free voice control, but they also optimize standby time for longer battery life.
2. BOSE Connect
Both the Google Play shop and the Apple store provide this for free download. The Bose Connect software can be downloaded from any store. In this case, you can only utilize Bose-branded equipment, including Bluetooth speakers and headphones.
However, the app is great because it allows you to connect numerous Bluetooth devices and offers features like Music Share, which allow you to listen together. When using the Party Mode feature, you can pair two SoundLink speakers to create a stereo pair.
Then, there’s a Stereo Mode that gives you a more in-depth listening experience by splitting the music equally between the left and right speakers.
You’d be getting the best of both worlds (high-quality speakers and a wealth of useful features and controls via the accompanying app) if you decided to go this route and if you’re in the market for several Bluetooth speakers.
3. AmpMe
In 2015, the developers of the software AmpMe made it available on both the Google Play and Apple App stores. The Windows and Mac versions are both downloadable. AmpMe is essentially a music-syncing tool that allows you to boost the volume of your music by linking up with other devices, such as cellphones, Bluetooth speakers, computers, and MACs.
This software will only function with streaming services like YouTube and eventually Spotify, but you can connect many Bluetooth speakers at once. Unfortunately, Netflix streaming is currently not available on this device.
